BB BearingsUpdated 2 months ago
Getting the right bottom bracket (Often referred to as a BB) for your bike can be a little tricky but we are here to guide you through it. We always recommend opting for a Sealed Bottom Bracket- they work better, last longer and are more reliable than an Un-Sealed version.

1-Freestyle BMX Bottom Brackets:
Getting a new BB for a freestyle BMX is pretty straight forward- You just work out what size BB your frame uses and what size your cranks spindle is and get a BB that corresponds to both. These specs can be found on the listing for the bikes/frames/cranks online.
Freestyle BMX frames come in 3 main BB sizes- MID, Spanish & US.
Cranks come in 3 Sizes (Spindle Size)- 19mm, 22mm & 24mm.
Example: If my frame uses a MID BB and my cranks have a 24mm spindle- I will need a MID 24mm Bottom Bracket.
Pretty much all modern day Freestyle BMX Frames use a MID BB.
