Cranks come in 3 Styles: 3 Piece, 2 Piece & 1 Piece

The three pieces of cranks refers to 1 Left Arm, 1 Right Arm and 1 Spindle. 

Three Piece and Two Piece cranks are extremely similar in that a Two Piece Crank is just a Three Piece Crank with one of the arms already connected to the spindle. There really isn't any difference between them other than that. These are the cranks that we recommend for all types of BMX riding. Super strong and built to last. 

One piece Cranks are not designed for Jumping, Tricks, Stunts or anything of the like. These are usually a forged single piece of metal. They are great for just pedalling around but are not designed with strength in mind. These are found on the cheapest or old bikes. We are typically not a fan of One Piece Cranks!
