Standover Height can play a big bike on how your bike feels. It's measured from the centre of the Bottom Bracket, directly up the Seat Tube to the centre of the Top Tube. Typically Standover will range from around 7 to 9.75 Inches for 20 Inch Freestyle BMX Bikes.

Typically Park, Race and Trails riders will prefer lower Standover Heights. This allows for easier tailwhips, can-cans, etc. Street riders prefer a Taller Standover Height for style and angular strength.
