My raw/translucent paint has gone rusty. Is this covered by warranty?Updated 2 months ago

Clear and translucent (trans) paints can show surface oxidation on cro-mo parts. This oxidisation will not compromise the structural integrity of the part during its normal lifespan and is not considered a defect and is unfortunately not covered under warranty by most brands. If you do not want to see surface oxidisation, please consider a chrome-plated part or one painted in a solid colour.
